Coverage
by Device

Protection That Adapts to Every Device

Device-specific coverage. Clearly defined. Transparently delivered.

Coverage under QYK Care varies by device category, usage pattern, and risk exposure. Select your device below to view covered events, exclusions, and service benefits applicable to that device.

How Coverage Is Structured

Understanding Your Protection

This page is organised in two clear sections to make coverage easy to understand and navigate.

First, you’ll see the common coverage rules and exclusions for each plan type:

  • Accidental Damage & Liquid Damage (ADLD)
  • Extended Warranty (EW)

These sections explain what each plan generally covers and does not cover across all eligible devices.

Next, you’ll find device-specific coverage details, listed by asset category. These sections highlight additional inclusions, exclusions, or clarifications that apply only to that particular device.

How to Use This Page

  • Devices covered under ADLD are listed first, followed by devices covered under Extended Warranty

  • Click on any device to jump directly to its coverage section

  • Device sections display only asset-specific differences, while common rules apply as defined above

  • A comprehensive component-level coverage table is available at the end of this page for detailed reference

Important Note:

Coverage varies by device category and selected plan. Where applicable, device-specific inclusions or exclusions take precedence over the general plan coverage. Please refer to the comprehensive coverage table and policy terms for complete details.

Global Coverage & Exclusions

What ADLD Covers

Accidental Damage & Liquid Damage (ADLD) provides protection against sudden, unintended physical damage to eligible devices caused by accidental external events, subject to policy terms and conditions.

Generally covered under ADLD:

  • Accidental physical damage due to drop, fall, or impact

  • Screen or display damage caused by accidental impact

  • Liquid damage due to accidental spillage or liquid ingress

  • Damage caused by unintentional external force affecting device functionality

  • Partial or total damage where repair is uneconomical, subject to applicable depreciation, excess, and sum insured

  • Coverage is limited to up to 2 admissible claims during the policy period

  • Total claim payouts across all claims are capped up to the Sum Insured

  • Once the Sum Insured is exhausted or the maximum number of claims is reached, coverage ceases

Coverage applies only when damage is accidental, unforeseen, and unintended, and repairs are carried out through authorised service centres.

What ADLD Does Not Cover

Unless specifically mentioned under a device category or plan variant, ADLD does not cover:

  • Theft, loss, or mysterious disappearance

  • Intentional, deliberate, or wilful damage

  • Cosmetic damage not affecting functionality (scratches, dents, paint peel)

  • Damage due to negligence, misuse, abuse, or reckless handling

  • Normal wear and tear or gradual deterioration

  • Manufacturing defects or internal mechanical / electrical breakdowns

  • Damage caused by improper installation or incorrect usage

  • Accessories and external attachments (chargers, cables, earphones, mounts, stands)

  • Consumables or user-replaceable items

  • Software issues, operating system failure, or data loss

  • Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or non-approved spare parts

  • Fire, flood, earthquake, lightning, or other natural calamities

  • War, terrorism, riots, or civil commotion

  • Commercial or non-personal usage (unless specifically agreed)

  • Pre-existing Damage – Any issue present before plan activation.

Certain devices may have additional exclusions or limitations under ADLD. Asset-specific inclusions and exclusions are detailed in the respective device sections below.

Important Clarification

ADLD covers accidental physical and liquid damage only. Mechanical or electrical breakdowns arising without an external accidental cause are covered under Extended Warranty, where applicable.

What EW Covers

Extended Warranty provides protection against post-manufacturer warranty mechanical and electrical breakdowns of eligible devices, subject to policy terms and conditions.

Generally covered under EW:

  • Internal mechanical and electrical component failure

  • Breakdown due to manufacturing defects

  • Internal component failure not caused by accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorised repairs

  • Repair or replacement of defective internal parts

  • Coverage limited to the available sum insured per device

  • Unlimited admissible claims are allowed during the policy period

  • Total claim payouts across all claims are capped up to the Sum Insured

  • Coverage continues until the Sum Insured is exhausted or the policy expires, whichever is earlier

All repairs are carried out through authorised service centres only.

What EW Does Not Cover

Unless specifically mentioned under a device category or extension, Extended Warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental or physical damage of any kind

  • Liquid or moisture damage

  • Cosmetic damage not affecting functionality

  • Normal wear and tear or ageing of parts

  • Consumables and user-replaceable items

  • Accessories, external attachments, or removable parts

  • Damage due to improper usage or negligence

  • Voltage fluctuation, power surge, or short circuit

  • Pest, insect, rodent, or foreign object damage

  • Fire, flood, earthquake, lightning, or other natural calamities

  • Software, firmware, or data-related issues

  • Repairs carried out by unauthorised service centres

  • Commercial or non-residential usage (unless specifically agreed)

Asset-specific inclusions or exclusions, if any, are mentioned within the respective device sections below.

Important Clarification

Extended Warranty covers only mechanical and electrical breakdowns occurring after the manufacturer’s warranty period. Accidental and liquid damage are not included unless specifically opted under a separate plan.
